You'll also find candles, jewelry, books, blankets, framed art, windchimes, and delicious-smelling products for the bath and body. Even if you're in travel mode, they can set you up with film and postcards. The friendly staff invites questions and gives good directions. |

This terrific shop carries some of the coolest, hippest merchandise in town. It's not your usual tourist-trap stop-off; the merchandise is stylish, well-made, and out of the ordinary. Throughout the space, there's lots of texture, whether it comes from baskets, wrought iron, sleek pottery, or galvanized metal. You'll find tons of home accessories for all tastes, including Asian and Provencal sensibilities. There are candles and holders, glassware, dinnerware, frames, greeting cards, wall art, and finely-crafted jewelry. A large selection of books will make finding something to read on the road eminently easy. Everything is carefully and artistically displayed. Don't leave without seeing this one. |

This bookshop is diminutive to say the least. It's also connected to, and run by, the Christmas in the Rockies gift shop, so look there if you don't see an attendant at the bookstore. You'll definitely want to look through the merchandise, which includes good books on wildlife and nature, trail guides, fiction by Canadian authors, photography books, and a selection of children's literature. You'll also find greeting cards, blank journals, stationery, and even the latest entries to Oprah's book club. Happy reading! |
