Fairmont Hotels Description: When you dine at the Bow Valley Grill, you'll savor the finest and freshest seasonal cuisine, while overlooking the Fairholme Mountain Range. The unique 50-ft. open kitchen provides an opportunity for you to interact with our talented chefs while your meals are being prepared. The Bow Valley Grill offers a relaxing atmosphere that celebrates the spirit of the outdoors, with handcrafted mountain animal sculptures and tables constructed by local Alberta artisans, featuring the region's flora and fauna. Our breakfast buffet features a spectacular array of market fresh fruits, omelets made to order, homemade breads & pastries and much more. The Bow Valley Grill offers an exceptional a la carte dinner menu featuring hearty home-baked breads, salads, soups and savory entrees such as Fresh BC Rainbow Trout, Prime Rib of Alberta Beef, Seafood Linguine, Grilled Alberta Striploin, Pan Seared Salmon and Scallops, Stuffed Chicken Breast, Grilled Beef Tenderloin, Alberta Elk Striploin and much more. A pleasing selection of sweet indulgences for dessert will complete your dining experience.
Description: This expansive dining room is one of the hotel's largest, most popular venues. It's usually busy throughout the day, but it makes the most of its space by offering both a la carte and buffet dining. In the evenings, the menu focuses on Canadian fare, especially steaks and seafood. Appetizers include oyster mushroom chowder and Dungeness crab cakes; rotisserie options feature duck and chicken, succulent when roasted on a spit. Alberta beef is offered in several different cuts and comes with rich, accompanying sauces, and you'll also find pork chops and local trout on the menu. Reservations are a smart idea, especially if your time in Banff is limited.
