This 27-acre horticultural garden, with its beautiful view of Passamaquoddy Bay, is one of Canada's top-10 public gardens. The Kingsbrae Gardens used to be part of the Flemer family estate; they opened to the public in 1998. You'll find over 50,000 varieties of trees, shrubs and perennials on display. Special areas include the rose garden, day lily collection, butterfly garden, an aviary, a therapy garden with herbs, an orchard, a children's garden with a Victorian playhouse and a cedar maze. The Garden has a wonderful tearoom that serves salads, sandwiches and other refreshments. |
