Description:
One of the best restaurants in the Valley, the Grill is utter heaven for red-meat fans. You simply won't go wrong with the big ticket items such as the 24-ounce porterhouse steak, New York steak or filet mignon. The pork chops and double-cut Colorado lamb chops are also worth ordering. This is also a good place to order that hard-to-find calves liver with onions and bacon that you've been hankering for. Visit on the seventh day for the Sunday Dinner Special: A 24-ounce prime rib cut is served on the bone with creamed spinach, baked potato, au jus and creamy horseradish for $32.75. Beyond farm animals, the Grill is also known for its fresh seafood (try the broiled Atlantic salmon), pastas (linguini and clams) and specials (chicken pot pie, meat loaf, etc.). The dungeness crab cakes seem to have quite the following.

Description:
The luxurious setting of the downtown Fairmont Hotel logically demands equal elegance from its upscale restaurant. The Pagoda, with its rich red booths, dark, sleek columns and fresh flower arrangements promises a beautiful setting to match the hotel.
Pagoda offers wonderfully prepared Mandarin, Cantonese and Szechwan cuisine. All the staples are well represented and worthwhile. The lemon chicken is thickly battered and covered in a rich sweet citrus sauce. The various chow mein dishes are some of the best that you'll find anywhere in Silicon Valley. The noodles are thin, sticky and crunchy and they are topped with plenty of freshly prepared ingredients. Don't miss the appetizers-both the egg rolls and pot stickers are lovely. Pagoda also offers a good number of vegetarian and tofu dishes.

Description:
The ceiling towers 17-feet above giving the restaurant a wonderful airy quality. Sleek blond wood floors are underfoot while rich, dark wooden chairs and tables lend elegant contrast in downtown's historic 1895 Security Building. This fusion cuisine centers around Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and India. The crab cakes, calamari, corn fritters and truly regal imperial rolls are all wonderful. Meat lovers should try the New York steak or pork chops, the former with Thai accents, the latter with Filipino adobo sauce. Order one of E&O's own brews with dinner. The India Pale Ale, their flagship beer, is a classic hoppy, full-bodied ale while Gecko Bay Wheat is an unfiltered, summery beer with the allures of fresh-baked bread.
