Description:
For 20 years, this place was home to Hollywood's famous Brown Derby and was the place to be seen if you were anybody at all. Its distinctive domed ceiling was covered up during the '60s when the building was a restaurant. Today though, the lofty space has been exposed anew, and the 1930s-era decor hearkens back to what might be called Hollywood's heyday. Music ranges from swing (with dance lessons) to rare grooves, alternative, goth, reggae, and jazz. A fun, unpretentious hangout.
