Description:
Malaysian cuisine is derived mostly from Chinese and East Indian traditions, although it has influences of other Asian cultures as well. Chahaya Malaysia is a great place to give it a try. The atmosphere is appealing, with batiks and Asian art on the walls, and the wonderful aromas of curry, coconut and garlic. The menu is extensive, but the spicy beef rendang is much favored. Other tasty options include fantastic spring rolls, chicken satay and tamarind shrimp. Be sure to try teh tarik, the traditional pulled tea found in many Asian countries. Halal, and good for vegetarians.
