Description:
Winnipeg's only DiRoNa-recognized restaurant, Dubrovnik is the epitome of stylish fine dining. The mansion-by-the-river setting is elegance personified, with food, wine and service to match. Despite its name, the restaurant serves mostly contemporary Canadian cuisine – borscht is about the only Eastern European item on the menu. Representative dishes include seared scallops with pumpkin seed oil and coconut pumpkin emulsion, grilled bison filet with maple-juniper demi-glace, nori-stuffed Muscovy duck breast, and venison medallions with chestnuts, apples, red cabbage and lingonberry sauce.
