Description:
The focus of this museum is the history of crafts in Manitoba. You'll find a wonderful collection of handcrafted items that include embroidery, beadwork, basketry, knitting, quilting, weaving, tatting, Inuit and Aboriginal stone sculpture, woodwork and pottery. There are a good number of items from other countries, collected for comparison. The library has thousands of publications, from craft technique books to tomes of history and art.
