Description:
Established in 1964, this is one of the more established and popular ski resorts in Québec. Well known for having an extensive system of ski runs, Stoneham keeps 16 of them open for night skiing, so the slopes stay busy into the evening. They also have an amazing snowboarding park, ice skating and snowshoeing, and all necessary equipment rentals. Après-ski at Stoneham is almost as famous – with several restaurants and bars, hot tubs and a pool, there's plenty to keep everyone in the family entertained for hours. The resort continues to attract outdoor enthusiasts during the summer with swimming, fishing, kayaking, rock climbing, hiking and tennis. Transportation to and from Québec City is available daily from mid-November to the end of the ski season (usually in April).
