Description:
Although the legendary Julia Childs had no stake in this eatery, she did allow its founders to borrow her name. As such, the kitchen finds itself having to live up to pretty high expectations. Fortunately, thanks to dishes like braised veal short-ribs and roasted monkfish with applewood bacon, due tribute is paid. The contemporary, streamlined restaurant features gray concrete floors, stainless steel accents, retro furniture, an open-plan kitchen, and industrial lighting. An outdoor dining area overlooks olive trees, manicured gardens, and the Napa River.
