Description:
This stunning complex is devoted to international trade, but the architecture and history that comprise it are reason enough for a visit. The structure incorporates historic buildings into its overall design, including a stretch of the city's fortification walls, which lie beneath a glass-enclosed concourse. There's also a granite fountain and reflecting pool and a portion of the now-defunct Berlin Wall. Since the Centre is connected to the Underground City, shops and restaurants are easily accessible, as is the luxurious Inter-Continental Hotel.
