Description:
Due in part to the restaurant's longevity, it has become "Jasper's authority on prime rib." It regularly serves up Alberta's best beef to hungry patrons, who test their appetites with a 16-ounce T-bone or the signature prime rib, made extra succulent with a rich au jus. Surf and turf adds a lobster tail to the charcoal-broiled cut of meat. Beyond steak, there's chicken, lamb, trout, veal and barbecued ribs. Seafood also pulls in its fair share of diners, who clamor for sauteed scallops and prawns broiled in a special garlic sauce. A wide-ranging wine list provides appropriate vintages for any entree, and an outdoor terrace welcomes guests in mild or cool weather, thanks to a powerful heat source. Breakfast daily.
