Description:
This clean-lined restaurant, accented with shoji screens and Asian textiles, takes Japanese culinary traditions seriously, whether it's the numerous hot entrees or the carefully-prepared sushi rolls. Starters include steamed dumplings, tofu salad, and deep-fried oysters. Main courses feature tempura dishes, stir-fries, and katsu (breaded cutlets of pork, chicken or beef). The selection of sushi includes nigiri (tuna, arctic surf clam and yellow tail) and maki (California roll, octopus roll and tuna roll). If you're in the mood for something warm and satisfying, the hot pots are delicious, as is the grilled fish. Choose from salmon, smelt, black cod and mackerel. Options for vegetarians are also available.
