Distance: ~24.75 mi
User Rating: 9 / 10
Description: HALF MOON BAY. This Arthur Hills course is a true Scottish links-style course with wide, rolling fairways that often serve up uneven lies. Trouble comes in the form of well-placed fairway and greenside bunkers and tall, wispy grasses that make shots out of the rough very challenging. These greens are average in size but very demanding. With most holes running along the coast and very few trees to provide protection, the wind can wreak havoc on even the smallest mistake. Of course, the scenery is something to brag about, even if your score is not.
