Description:
PEMBROKE PARISH. This is much more than just a great, traditional Irish pub. Located upstairs in the Emporium building, Flanagan's also features excellent local bands during the summer season, playing anything from rock to reggae. Eight television sets are constantly tuned to British and European soccer matches and major American football, baseball and basketball games. Those looking for more active entertainment can play foosball or interactive golf. Of course you can enjoy a pint of Guinness here, but they also offer many exotic liquor drinks – the white Russians are said to be especially tasty. Traditional pub grub will satisfy your munchies, and Flanagan's has some of the best fish chowder in all of Bermuda. |

Description:
SANDYS PARISH. This English-style pub is located in a renovated naval cooperage (where casks and barrels were made), and the exposed stone walls, old barrels and antique forge are still part of the decoration. Many fine brews are on tap – try a Watneys, Newcastle or Guinness – but be sure to sample the superb pub food as well. For lunch try the steak and mussel pie, bangers and mash, or a fresh salad. The lamb and curry pie makes a delicious supper, or feast on liver and onions or lasagna. |
